The Sergeant Dominic Vaca Memorial Scholarship is currently available for Criminal Justice majors at Copper Mountain College with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Applications are due September 15 and recipients will be named September 30. To download an application, make a donation towards the scholarship, or for more information on the program, see the instructions below. Sergeant Dominic Vaca, a 17-year veteran of the Sheriff’s department, was shot and killed in May while pursuing a suspect through Yucca Valley.
