Conversational Sign Language classes at Copper Mountain College

The Hearing Loss Association of America estimates that 48 million Americans have some degree of hearing loss making communication a challenge. To address this issue, local sign language interpreter, Celene de Miranda, is leading an Intro to Conversational ASL (American Sign Language) class through the Community Education Program at Copper Mountain College.

The one-hour class meets every Thursday in April (4th, 11th, 18th and 25th) starting this week on April 4 starting at 5:30 p.m. in Room 103. The cost is $20.

To sign up, call the Community Education Program at 760/366-5201, ext 5402, or register online.
