Construction on 247 continues weeknights

Construction on State Route 247, known locally as Old Woman Springs Road, will continue weeknights this week.

Nightly paving operations continue from Sunday to Thursday 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Northbound SR-247 lane closures with flagging operation will begin near Gleason Rd. Friday and Saturday night work may occasionally be required from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Caltrans says that wait times on each side of the flagging operations are expected to be 20 minutes, and they ask that you plan ahead. The construction project is part of an extensive road rehabilitation program that involves repaving and widening the roads shoulders for signage and bike lanes.
