The Morongo Basin Healthcare District’s Community Health Centers in Yucca Valley and 29 Palms are providing back-to-school immunizations. The vaccines will be offered today (August 2) and next Tuesday (August 9). Today will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Morongo Basin Community Health Center in 29 Palms (6380 Split Rock Ave).
Then again on Tuesday, August 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Morongo Basin Community Health Center’s new Wellness Clinic in Yucca Valley (57019 Yucca Trail, Suite D) Vaccines required for school-age children include Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap), Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis (DTaP), Hepatitis B, Polio, Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR), and Varicella (Chickenpox). Appointments are required by calling 760-365-9305.
Walk-ins may be accommodated as space allows.
