Community cleanup in Wonder Valley this Saturday

Do you or someone you know have some big items that you’ve been waiting to haul to the Landers Landfill?

There is a free Community Cleanup tomorrow morning that may make the trip a bit shorter for residents of the Wonder Valley Area.

San Bernardino County Code Enforcement and Solid Waste Management Divisions will be providing bulky trash collection containers for the FREE disposal of accumulated trash, e-waste, and tires.

This program is limited to the residents of the unincorporated County areas. You can bring up to 9 tires – tires on rims will be accepted. Electronics like TVs, stereo equipment, cellphones will be handled by the urban conservation corps.

No hazardous waste like oil or chemicals will be accepted. The cleanup begins at 8:00 AM tomorrow at the Wonder Valley Community Center on Amboy Road. It goes until 12:00 noon or until the bins are full.
