Community Clean-Up and Shredding Event Saturday in 29 Palms (5/20)

If you are a resident of Twentynine Palms and old documents or outdated technology is taking up space in your life, now is the time to purge. On Saturday May 20, the city and Burrtec are hosting a Community Clean-up and Shredding Event where residents are encouraged to bring unwanted electronic waste and old documents for safe and secure disposal.

From 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, free shredding services will be available with a limit of four boxes per vehicle and one trip per vehicle. The event takes place at the Luckie Park Activity Center, 74325 Joe Davis Drive.

Other accepted items include:

  • Appliances
  • Green waste
  • Furniture
  • Scrap metal
  • Wood
  • Yard trimmings
  • Trash

Items NOT accepted:

  • Tires
  • Mattresses
  • Hazardous waste – motor oil, paint, insecticides, batteries
