Blood levels in the Morongo Basin are critically low – here’s how you can help:
A community blood drive will be held on Wednesday (July 13th) In the Yucca Valley Vons parking lot. If you are healthy and at least 15 years old, you can donate blood and receive a free mini physical that includes blood pressure, pulse, cholesterol and iron levels. You’ll also receive a free beach towel while supplies last. The blood drive will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and you can set an appointment by calling LifeStream at 1-800-879-4484 or by visiting www.lstream.org
