Come sing at the 29 Palms Community Choral

As part of the Workshop29’s series, artist and composer Carolyn Pennypacker Riggs is inviting anyone and everyone to come out and sing. All voices are welcome, and there are no auditions or musical experience required. This is the first of two “rehearsal events,” with a roving performance planned to sing throughout the Twentynine Palms Farmers Market on Saturday, February 17.

No commitment is required to the choir. you can come to one or both rehearsals, and there’s no obligation to perform.
Participants will learn vocal technique, original music, and collective improvisation from Riggs alongside Workshop29’s creative leadership mentees Carly Foulkes—an artist, photographer and musician— and multimedia artist Brianna Dandurand.

Through funding provided in part by the California Arts Council, and sponsored by the 29 Palms Public Arts Advisory Committee (PAAC), this program will also partner with VOTE Morongo Basin, who will have a booth at the Farmers Market where listeners can register to vote.

Come be a part of the musical fun and drop in to sing tomorrow from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Freedom Plaza Gym. Registration ahead of time is certainly not required, but you can at a link in this story at Z1077fm.com
