The ongoing State Route 62 mill and overlay road work has shifted to nighttime operations just 3 days this week.
Caltrans says this Tuesday June 7, Wednesday June 8 and Thursday June 9, they will be grinding and paving from 7:00 P.M. until 6:00 A/M.
Caltrans will be working from Pioneertown Road in Yucca Valley to Indian Canyon Avenue at the bottom of the Morongo Grade.
During the work, crews will have one lane of traffic open to traffic. Vehicles and equipment will be moving in and out of the lane closure. Delays could be long and you are urged to allow extra time when traveling.
