The California Arts Council is providing grants up to $50,000 for artists in San Bernardino County. With details on this major opportunity, here’s art snob Jef Harmatz

The California Arts Council’s Individual Artists Fellowship program is designed to recognize and provide resources to the state’s artist and culture bearers with grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000. The Fellowship program is currently open to artists practicing in any medium and forum in several southern California counties, including our own San Bernardino County.

The Fellowship is looking for artists with unique artistic vision, ongoing commitment to their creative practice, and engagement with and impact on their larger cultural ecosystem. The amount of the grants is determined by how long the artist has been working.

The deadline to apply for this grant is April 14. If you’re an artist, or know someone who might benefit from this grant, you can learn more and apply for the grant at this link: https://artsoc.org/individual-artist-fellowship/
