As the Morongo Unified School District kicks off the new school year, The Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Desert is once again starting their Before and After School Program.
The Boys & Girls Club’s program serves students between the ages of 5 and 18, and includes bussing to and from school, breakfast and an after school snack, daily tutoring and and homework help, and programming that features gardening, STEM, sports, recreation and more. This year’s program will help students develop in the core areas of Character and Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, Health and Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports and Fitness.
The Before and After School Program runs Mondays through Fridays, students can be signed up on a weekly basis, and one week of programming costs $40. Parents will only pay for the weeks their child attends, and discounts for siblings are available.
The Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Desert is located on Little League Drive in Yucca Valley.
