Board of Directors vacancy on the Morongo Basin Healthcare District Board

The Morongo Basin Healthcare District Board of Directors has a vacancy and is looking to fill it at a special meeting on Monday, October 17, at 6 p.m.

If you are interested in serving on the Morongo Basin Healthcare Board of Directors, submit a letter of interest along with your qualifications. You may submit electronically to [email protected] or by mail or delivery to the district offices at 6530 La Contenta Road suite #200, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, attention to Karen Graley, Board Clerk.

Applicants must be registered voters with primary residence within the boundaries of the healthcare District and be prepared to serve until the current term of office expires in December 2024.

Applicants may submit completed letters electronically to [email protected] or by mail or delivery to the district offices at 6530 La Contenta Road suite #200, Yucca Valley, CA 92284, attention to Karen Graley, Board Clerk.

Applicants must be registered voters with primary residence within the boundaries of the healthcare District and be prepared to serve until the current term of office expires in December 2024.

The letter of interest and qualifications should include:
• Contact information (phone and email)
• Confirm voting status within San Bernardino County
• List Primary residence address within the healthcare District’s boundaries
• List experience as a community board or committee member and contact information
• List three personal references
• Fair Political Practices Act Disclosure Statement (form 700)

After a long successful career as a Photostylist and producer in New York and Los Angeles, Hilary Sloane moved to the Morongo Basin and began a new career as a journalist and documentary photographer, getting a journalism certification from Michigan State. Hilary is a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) and has documented the work of local and International non-profits. She has a podcast on Sound Cloud and is looking forward to adding more. Her favorite pastime is watching the wildlife around her home, traveling, and meeting new people.
