Board of Directors of the Twentynine Palms Water District meets this Wednesday

On Wednesday evening, the Twentynine Palms Water District (TPWD) Board of Directors will meet to discuss water-related issues.

The agenda will feature a discussion of the districts’ Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, attendance at the annual California Special Districts Association (CSDA) conference in September, and an amendment to the General Manager Employment Agreement. Additional discussion items include the emergency rehabilitation of Well 14, the cooperative USGS study between the TPWD and the city, and health insurance for the TPWD directors.

The remainder of the public meeting will consist of management reports on maintenance, water quality, and finance.

The meeting begins at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, at 72401 Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms and may be viewed on the district’s website at 29palmswater.net
