The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency, serving Landers, Johnson Valley, and Flamingo Heights, meets in special session at 6 p.m. this evening, June 21, 2022.
Tonight is a makeup session for the regular second Tuesday meeting which was canceled earlier this month. An ambitious agenda is on tap this evening, including fixing and adopting the 2022/23 fiscal budget; first steps for establishing the fiscal appropriation limit; standby assessments for the Goat Mountain Improvement District; and approval of an investment policy.
The public is invited to attend in person at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers. Remote participation is also an option.
