The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency’s Board of Directors meets in special session at 6 p.m. tonight (May 2, 2023). The board will hold public workshop number four in which it is expected that the agency’s fiscal 23-24 budget will be fixed and adopted. In other business, there will be a public hearing followed by a vote on a pay increase for the board. They may approve, deny, or postpone the increase. Tonight’s meeting is in place of the canceled May 9 meeting.
The public is invited to attend in person at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers. Remote participation is also an option.
