The Bighorn-Desert View Water Agency’s Board of Directors tonight will follow the Basin’s other water districts and honor retiring Mojave Water Agency Director Jim Ventura for his many achievements during more than two decades of public service.
Directors will receive and file the financial audit for fiscal 2021/22; consider forming an Ad Hoc Committee to develop a “Management Succession Plan” and look into establishing a process for review of the agency’s legal counsel.
Other business, staff and director reports, and public comments are also on tonight’s agenda.
The public is invited to attend in person at the agency’s board meeting office under the old water tower on Cherokee Trail in Landers.
