Operation Dust Devil has been going for ten weeks now, and sheriff patrols continued in Twentynine Palms, Yucca Valley and Morongo Valley. Telephone Scams increase in Morongo Basin, targeting seniors and other vulnerable people

There is another phone scam being reported here in the Morongo Basin - this time the thieves are posing as agents from the FBI and are convincing victims that they owe money to the federal government. 29 Palms Cemetery District meeting tomorrow, Feb. 21

The Twentynine Palms Cemetery District Board of Trustees meets in regular session tomorrow afternoon (February 21). The Board is expected to receive reports from the General Manager regarding cemetery operations and financial data, and will consider adding an additional groundskeeper position.
