Yesterday, the Yucca Valley Town Council meet in special session at 8:30 a.m. to award a variety of contracts to public works projects. The Arthur Davies trial has once again been delayed - this time until a scheduled trial date on July 10. The case has been in the courts for over 5 years, and the latest delay arrives on the heels of a previous continuance that was supposed to push the trial to this week. Earlier delays came from Arthur Davies’ defense attorney Zulu Ali, who had previously stated that he needed more time to produce a court expert.
