More than 50 people turned out for last night’s (Jan. 8, 2024) meeting of the Landers Community Association. Primarily they came to hear from the developers of a proposed glamping site. Calvin and Adriana Clark, developers of the proposed six-unit Eco Dome campground in Landers, addressed a reasonably polite audience last night. Landers ‘Team Up To Clean Up’ Volunteers Keep 247 Litter-Free

You may have seen them on State Route 247/ Old Woman Springs Road, usually the third Saturday of every month. They’re wearing bright green safety vests and hard hats, and they’re carrying grab sticks and trash bags. Though they've been mistaken for prison inmates on work release, they are “Landers Team Up to Clean Up” volunteers collecting litter.
