A Joshua Tree man was arrested for suspicion of domestic violence, child abuse, and torture. Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to an assault call on Wednesday (August 24) to the 61000 block of Begonia Place in Joshua Tee, where deputies say they that Larry Gillette, 23, was involved in an argument. A Landers man was arrested for suspicion of possession of stolen property and being a felon in possession of a firearm and body armor.
