Victim of fatal 29 Palms crash indentified

The motorcyclist killed in a crash in Twentynine Palms last weekend has been identified. The San Bernardino County Coroner’s office released the name of the man who lost control of his motorcycle, crashing on Larrea Ave near Twentynine Palms on Saturday afternoon (October 28). Manuel Leonardo Martinez, a 60 year-old resident of Twentynine Palms, was traveling southbound on Larrea Avenue when Sheriff’s Deputies reported he lost control of his motorcycle, and ran off the roadway into a ditch. …

Fatal crash in Needles involved 29 Palms resident

A Twentynine Palms man was killed in Needles during a rollover crash earlier this month.The San Bernardino County Coroners’ Office has identified Bishop Lawler, a 33 year-old resident of Twentynine Palms, as the deceased. The County Sheriff’s office reports that Lawler was involved in a single-vehicle roll-over crash early in the morning on October 12. approximately 5.5 miles south of Interstate 40 on Kepbaker Road in Needles. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
