At 8am on Saturday morning, the Morongo Valley Fire Department closed off their portion of Ocotillo St. and opened their bay doors to serve up pancakes, eggs, and bacon to 70-80 community members at $5 a plate. $1 raffle tickets were sold by Coyote Cone’s Shawna Johnson to further benefit the department, where MV Fire Department caps, gift certificates to local businesses, and a large bag of bird seed were given away. This Saturday, May 13th, the Morongo Valley Fire Department will be opening their doors to hold their 2nd Annual Pancake Breakfast to benefit the department from 8-11am at 11207 Ocotillo St. in Morongo Valley.
