The Desert Theatre League, who for the past 36 years has been recognizing local theatrical excellence with their Desert Star Awards, has announced their 2022 nominees.
In a field of over 90 productions performed during the 2021-22 theatre season in member organizations ranging from Indio to Twentynine Palms, Theatre 29 was recognized with 37 nominations for their post-pandemic productions of the Cabarets MIS-CAST 2022 with 11 nominations, ALMOST LOVE with 10, A GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER with 7, A CHRISTMAS CAROL THE MUSICAL with 4, AGATHA CHRISTIE’S MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS with 4 and RAPUNZEL with 1.
