3rd Saturday Art Walk in Yucca Valley: Compound YV, JTNPA Group Show, and Goat Mountain Teeny Weeny art

Three galleries are holding openings in Yucca Valley tonight (November 18), it what is becoming a bit of a third Saturday of the month tradition.

Compound YV is debuting their brand new exhibition this evening, called “Heavenly Bodies.” It’s a solo show from New York based painter Tess Jenkins, who debuts mixed media work described as “part offerings of gratitude, part exorcisms” and “joyfully excessive. Compound will hold an opening reception from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Joshua Tree National Park Association debuts a new group show, featuring work from a number of high desert artists, which they’re calling “Where Two Deserts Meet.” They are holding a reception at their Yucca Valley location from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

And Goat Mountain Company is holding their third annual “Teeny Weeny Show,” featuring small works of art from a number of hi-desert artists tonight. They are holding a reception from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Spend tonight perusing all the openings throughout Yucca Valley, and enjoy the hi-desert’s booming art scene.
