Downtown Joshua Tree’s art galleries team up for another evening of fine are and socializing.
The Joshua Tree Art Gallery is holding a reception for their new solo exhibit, “Ba Midbar – In the Desert,” featuring paintings, drawings and prints created by Robert Aronson. The Yucca Valley-based Aronson creates abstract paintings are inspired by the vistas of the high desert. A reception will be held tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“Desert Driven”, a solo show by Janis Commentz, opens at Pilates & Arts Saturday February 11th 6 – 8 PM during the Joshua Tree 2nd Saturday Artwalk.
Hey There Galleries will debut an solo exhibit from Rob Clayton.
La Matadora debuts a new show called “Headspace” featuring work by Joshua Almendinger alongside Michelle Voss, JD Rudometkin and Maryam Ghaffari. The reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
and Art Queen Gallery will hold a reception for “Snip and Snap, featuring mixed media work featuring mixed media work from L.I. Henley, Celeste Goyer, Kate McCabe, Laura Bogner, Barbara Austin from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
All of these galleries are in Downtown Joshua Tree and walking distance from one another, so park your car, take a stroll and see some stunning work from local and national artists.
