The Twentynine Palms High School Lady Cats softball team hosted the Yucca Valley High School Trojans yesterday (March 13).
The Lady Cats bested the Trojans with a final score of 14-10.
Jencia Silvas pitched all 7 innings allowing 11 hits while striking out 16. Jencia had one hit,4 walks and one RBI.
Alexia Dauterive hit a 2 run home run over the center field fence.
Alexia went 2 for with 3 walks and 4 RBI’s. Tui Young, Oli Ryan, Gabby Wunderlee and Maya Beltz all had one hit each.
Jenica Silvas is Wildcat of the week for the Cathedral City series. Jenica pitched 12 innings with 24 strike outs and went 3 for 7 at the plate.
