241-acre solar project returns to Twentynine Palms Planning Commission

At the previous Planning Commission meeting they considered sending the E-Group Solar Project to the City Council for approval. The Commissioners decided they were not given enough time to study the 380+ pages in the agenda packet and the meeting was continued until March 3, 2026.

For this meeting, City staff is recommending that the Planning Commissioners transfer their decision-making authority over to the Twentynine Palms City Council in this matter. Once again public comments will be heard.

Lastly, selection of the Planning Commission Chair and Vice-chair will take place.

The meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. tomorrow Tuesday March 3 and will be held at City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms.
