Yucca Valley Town Council has started the annual slurry seal project, crack sealing of all streets, as well as replacement of obliterated traffic striping and damaged raised pavement.markers.
Lane closures are planned for the week of July 5 – July 8 in the Storey Park and Country Club neighborhoods, as well as Sunnyslope Drive from Old Woman Springs Road to Pioneertown Road. During operations, traffic will be allowed from one direction at a time with the assistance of flaggers. The contractor will provide notice to residences and businesses that are likely to be affected by the maintenance project.
As with any project, changes in schedules may be necessary due to equipment failures, weather, and many other factors. The town will provide additional updated project schedule information as the project moves forward.
