The Hi-Desert Nature Museum holds its second Chamber Music Matinee, “Almost Baroque,” on Sunday, June 12, at 2:00 p.m. for a delightfully unique selection of late Renaissance to early Baroque compositions.
“Almost Baroque” will feature work by composers Frescobaldi, Holborne, Gussago, Lully, and Fritsch performed by The Joshua Tree Early Music Society, Mojave Brass, and guest Nelms McKelvain on the harpsichord. The Hi-Desert Nature Museum, located in the Yucca Valley Community Center Complex, is at 57090 Twentynine Palms Highway.
Reserve your seat early. Donations are $10 for general seating or $15 for the front row. Seating is limited, and masks will be required regardless of vaccination status.
