Jill Carey Michaels, who hosts a quirky half-hour show on Z107.7, will be playing with her band Saturday night. Rough and Lovely will be playing at the Joshua Tree Saloon from 6 to 8 p.m. There is no cover charge. Michaels, an artist, performer, and author, shares her unique observations about the desert community during her half-hour show, Desert Storysongs, that airs at 2:30 Sundays on Z107.7. Desert Storysongs is followed by the Many Moods of Ben Vaughn at 3 p.m., and Pat Michaels’ Local Music Showcase at 4.
