YUCCA VALLEY WOMAN RESISTS ARREST FOR VANDALISM

A 37-year-old woman was accused of resisting arrest after she vandalized a Yucca Valley home. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 59500 block of Aberdeen Drive about 1:40 a.m. Tuesday because a woman, identified as Cyrina Hadad, of Yucca Valley, had ripped, bent, and removed window screens from the home during an argument with the home’s occupants. The homeowner requested that Hadad be arrested for vandalism; when deputies attempted to place Hadad inside the patrol car, they said she used her legs to push against the car. When they tried to hobble her legs, she flailed them at the deputies. Once she was in the car, she kicked a deputy in the leg and attempted to bite him on the shoulder. Once at the Morongo Basin Jail, Hadad kicked a deputy in the knee and threatened to punch another one if he removed her handcuffs. Cyrina Hadad was arrested for investigation of resisting arrest with her bail set at $50,000.
