A Yucca Valley woman was arrested last Thursday, accused of vehicle theft and felony evading. Taylor Towne, 21, was arrested about midnight near the intersection of South Slope Drive and Aztec Avenue in Twentynine Palms. The Sheriff’s Department has not released any additional information about the arrest. In addition to the arrests for suspected vehicle theft and felony evading, Taylor Towne was arrested for investigation of being under the influence of a controlled substance, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with her bail set at $125,000.
