YUCCA VALLEY TO HOLD WORKSHOPS FOR PARK IDEAS

Yucca Valley is putting together two updated Prop 68 Parks grant applications, and town staff need your assistance in providing input, thoughts, and suggestions on what residents want to see in their new parks. Managing editor Tami Roleff has more information…

Yucca Valley plans to hold workshops and input sessions over the next month to support the Town’s efforts to get funding to build a new skate park and rehabilitate the newly acquired Tri-Valley Little League facility. If successful, the funds would be used to provide for new fields, lighting, irrigation, bathrooms, and snack shack at the Tri-Valley Little League location. In addition, a new skate park would replace the dated community center facility with a modern design focused on safety with environmentally friendly features such as walking paths, shade shelters, solar lighting and native landscaping plans highlighting native plants unique to our area like the Joshua Tree. Listen to Z107.7 News for announcements on how to participate in the process.
