A Yucca Valley woman—who was believed to be overdosing on drugs—was arrested, accused of selling the drugs. Deputies were called to a gas station in Joshua Tree just before 11 p.m. Saturday, November 14, by a caller who said a woman had overdosed and had a needle stuck in her arms for two hours. When deputies arrived, they determined that Silver Usher, 22, had not overdosed, but deputies say she admitted to having methamphetamine inside her vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, deputies located scales, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Silver Usher was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of methamphetamine for sales and was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $50,000.
