YUCCA VALLEY MEN ACCUSED OF STALKING AND INTIMIDATING A WITNESS

Two Yucca Valley men were arrested in the early morning hours Saturday, accused of stalking and threatening a witness. About 1 a.m., deputies were called to the 56200 block of 29 Palms Highway for an argument. Deputies were called back about 45 minutes later, when the men, identified as Julian Evaro, 24, and Jazz Evaro, 19, returned and threw a water bottle at the door. The men left in a white Honda Civic toward Papago Trail. Deputies located the suspects, and a short pursuit ensued. Julian Evaro and Jazz Evaro were both arrested for investigation of stalking and intimidating a witness; in addition, Julian Evaro was also arrested on suspicion of felony evading. They were booked into the West Valley Detention Center with their bail set at $150,000 each. Jazz Evaro was released on bail Monday morning.
