A Yucca valley man was arrested Tuesday, accused of being in possession of a stolen car. According to limited information from the Sheriff’s Department, about 9:30 a.m., Joel Gomez, 56, was arrested by the Auto Theft Task Force for investigation of possession of a stolen 2000 BMW, and on warrants for possession of stolen property, vehicle theft, and violating the terms of his probation. Joel Gomez was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
