YUCCA VALLEY MAN ARRESTED WHEN TWO STOLEN VEHICLES ARE FOUND

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Monday after two stolen vehicles were located on his property. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to a home in the 56500 block of Sunset Avenue in Yucca Valley about 12:40 p.m. Monday afternoon. When they arrived, they determined that two vehicles parked on the property, which belonged to Joel Gomez, 54, had been reported stolen. Deputies called for a search warrant, and the stolen vehicles were removed from the property. Joel Gomez was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property, and a misdemeanor warrants, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, and is being held on $75,000 bail.
