YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF FELONY SPOUSE ABUSE

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Thursday, accused of forcing himself into a woman’s home and injuring her in the process. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 7100 block of Palo Alto Avenue about 2:30 p.m. The woman told deputies that Richard Aguirre, 39, attempted to push his way through the front door against her will, and then kicked open the door. The victim sustained a small abrasion to her bottom lip and a scratch to her arm. After an investigation, Richard Aguirre was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse and on a $150,000 warrant for burglary. He was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with bail set at $205,000.
