A Yucca Valley man was arrested Monday, accused of child abuse against a four-month old baby. On Friday, doctors at Loma Linda Medical Center called detectives to report the infant had been admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit with a severe injury. Doctors had determined her injury was caused by trauma consistent with child abuse. Detectives learned that the girl had been in the care of her father, Micah Inman, 23, at the time of the injury. Micah Inman was arrested about 6:30 p.m. at his home in the 7100 block of Murray Lane for investigation of willful cruelty to a child causing great bodily injury, booked into the Central Detention Center, with his bail set at $100,000.
