The Yucca Valley Library is searching for tutors for its adult literacy program. Tutor training sessions are Saturday, January 27 at 1 p.m. and Saturday, February 24 at 1 p.m. Tutor applications are available for pickup at the library during regular business hours. If tutoring is not your expertise, you can also volunteer to assist in several areas in the library. The next volunteer orientations are Saturday, January 13 at 9 a.m. and Saturday, February 10 also at 9 a.m. For more information, contact the San Bernardino County Library system at 760-228-5455.
