The Yucca Valley High School wrestling team invites the public to their “Black and Gold Scrimmage” tomorrow, Wednesday, November 16. Coach Larry Giron says there is no charge for admission but they will accept donations at the door. There will be a snack bar and souvenirs for sale. This is the official start of the wrestling season. Wrestlers will be grappling for varsity positions in the gym on Wednesday night; competition starts at 6 p.m. at Yucca Valley High School.
Then on Thursday, the wrestling team will host a fundraising event night in the multi-purpose room, admission is $5 for a spaghetti dinner—half-price for kids—all proceeds help the team buy warm ups and pay for our wrestling season. The spaghetti dinner will be followed by a cake auction at 7 p.m.
