YUCCA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL WINS 2ND ROUND CIF PLAYOFF GAME

In second-round CIF playoffs, the Yucca Valley High School Lady Trojans volleyball team beat the Aztecs of Mark Keppel High School in four sets. Head Coach Darrell Sterling said, “We played very well tonight. The girls played at a higher tempo with not a lot of service errors. These are things we will have to continue to do as we move forward in CIF.”  Riley Vallo led with 16 kills. Zena Yackimow had five kills and five blocks. Julia Conrad had 10 kills, two blocks, and seven service aces. Setter Alessa Luckino had 18 assists. Sophmore EJ Day had nine kills and 17 assists.
