YUCCA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL IN HOME CIF PLAYOFF TONIGHT

The Yucca Valley Lady Trojan basketball team will begin their playoff run at home tonight with a second-round game against Royal High School from Simi Valley. The Yucca girls, seeded eighth in the division 3AA playoffs, received a first round bye, while the Highlanders won a 41-37 first round game Thursday over Heritage High School to earn a visit to Trojan Gym. Game time is 7 p.m.; the doors open at 6 p.m. Ticket prices, set by CIF, are $10 general admission, $5 students with current high school ID, and $5 for children 3-13 years old.
