The theme for this year’s Grubstake Days Parade, “Celebrating Life in the Desert with Non-Profit Organizations,” will set a new precedent for the parade. According to Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce President Wanda Stadum, “Each non-profit organization entry will receive honorary recognition for their service to our community.” The color scheme will be traditional red, white and blue, to remind us what Memorial Day is all about. Parade entry details and registration forms will be available March 1 at the chamber office at 56711 29 Palms Highway in Yucca Valley.
