A Yucca Valley couple was arrested Monday, accused of mutual spouse abuse. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 6300 block of El Dorado Avenue about 12:45 a.m. Monday morning for a report of a couple fighting. Deputies say that James Sanders, 55, and Angelique Sanders, 56, admitted to hitting each other, and claimed the other started the fight. Both sustained minor injuries. James Sanders and Angelique Sanders were arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with their bail set at $50,000 each.
