YUCCA VALLEY COUNCILMAN CRITICAL OF Y.V. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Saying he, “Brings common sense to the Council”, Yucca Valley Town Councilman Bob Leone told Z107.7 News he has pulled papers to run for reelection in the November election. Leone said he was running because, quote – “They need me on the Council, because I bring common sense, represent the business community and the people, and I have no personal agenda.” Leone was critical of the leadership of the Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce saying, “The Chamber is not representing the business community, when I went to talk to them about the negative effects of the Highway median project, they ignored me because they have a political agenda.” Chamber of Commerce President Tom Huls disagreed with Leone, saying, “I do not believe that is true, the Chamber is unbiased in everything we do. We take an oath to support the business community over our own interests and personal feelings.”
