YUCCA VALLEY COMMUNITY THEATER TROUPE HAS A NEW VENUE

The Yucca Valley Community Theatre troupe, formerly known as The St. Joseph’s Players, not only has a new name, but also a new home. With more, here’s Rebecca Havely…
The newly named “Curtain Call Players,” formerly the “St. Joseph’s Players,” have found a new venue to call home in Yucca Valley. For the past five seasons, the troupe has produced a spring and fall show that have garnered several Desert Theatre League nominations. Among their wins, their latest production “A Few Good Men” won the Best Production of a Drama Star Award. The new space they will now call home is La Grange Performance and Event Venue on Santa Fe Trail in Yucca Valley. The Curtain Call Players has a newly formed Improv Troupe called “Curtain’s Up!”. The core team of Jericho McWilliams, Ben Bees, Andrew Dieleman, and Cyrus Short with show host Liyan Lagevardi have planned upcoming improv workshops and auditions for fundraiser performances that will begin in February 2018. Director Rebecca Havely will be announcing a fall play production soon, a comedy to be produced at La Grange.
