YUCCA VALLEY CHAMBER AND SHERIFF OFFER RETAIL HOLIDAY SAFETY TIPS

The Yucca Valley Chamber Business Watch Committee and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department will hold two workshops on retail holiday safety tips. Topics covered will be how to detect counterfeit money, how to identify shop lifters and what to do if you suspect someone is shoplifting in your store. Everyone in attendance will be entered into a drawing for a “Fraud Fighter Counterfeit Money Detector” valued at $100. The first seminar will be held Wednesday, November 6, at 7:30 a.m.; the second will be held Thursday, November 7, at 5:00 p.m. Both workshops will be held in the Yucca Valley Chamber office located at 56711 29 Palms Hwy. (in the California Welcome Center). Reserve your spot by calling the Chamber at 760-365-6323. Refreshments will be served.
