YUCCA VALLEY BURGLARY STOPPED BY SHARP-EYED NEIGHBOR

A Joshua Tree man was arrested Saturday after a sharp-eyed neighbor noticed a man going back and forth into a house where he didn’t belong. According to a Sheriff’s report, the neighbor called deputies just after 4 p.m. Saturday to report he saw a man allegedly burglarizing a home in the 7400 block of Del Monte Avenue in Yucca Valley. The suspect, later identified as David Liebrenz, 30, was seen driving off in his car, but deputies tracked him down just a few doors away. David Liebrenz was arrested for investigation of burglary, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
