YUCCA VALLEY AQUATICS CENTER GOES TO TOWN COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL

Last night, the Yucca Valley Planning Commission and the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Commission held a joint session to discuss the Proposition 68 Aquatics and Recreation Center Project. After, a long and detailed presentation by LPA, an architectural firm based in Irvine California, the commissioners voted in favor of receiving and filing the report with the recommendations suggested by the citizens advisory group.

The aquatics center will have an outdoor 32-meter pool, an indoor hybrid recreational pool, room to build a competition pool, a gymnasium, multi-purpose room, training room, and rehab room. The Proposition 68 aquatics and recreation Center project will now be moved to the town council for its consideration.
